I will eventually do a post holiday update, a new years wax philosophic, and perhaps even a What im looking forward to in Oh-Ten but for now you get this.
The 30 Day Shred (again because I didn’t complete it last time but totally will this time)
at first I was like:
Having started the shred once before I was pretty sure Day One, though grueling and bitchy, would be handleable.
So I dove in, using my trusty 7Up cans as weights (with @ManBearSquid at my side for moral and tummy support).
I’ve always loved jumping jacks so those are never a problem, and the butt-kicks are fine. It was when we got into the push ups that I was all FUUUUUUUUUUCK.
No really. I was like “FUCK I HATE PUSH UPS SO MUCH HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHAT MY ASS LOOKS LIKE JILLIAN I HATE YOU ALREADY”
The ManBear laughed at me a little and was all “PSH THIS AINT SHIT”
Boy did his tune change. KAPOW.
By the end we were both a sweaty heaving mess, and not for a good reason this time, either.
But then I was all:
My legs are jello guys. Delicious sweaty jello. Its been 20 minutes and the ManBear is still lying on the floor. I don’t know if we’re going to make this.
AND YES MY TREE IS STILL UP ITS BARELY JANUARY JEEZE I’LL TAKE IT DOWN TOMORROW GOSH.
In conclusion. Day 1 complete.
I’m planning on tracking measurements and all that folderol (do you have any ideas about this word? I feel like I grew up with it but I cant tell where it’s from. like I KNOW i know it from a song but don’t know what song. It’s like, on the tip of my tongue I just can’t find it and the ManBear is no help he’s all THAT WORD IS FOLDEROL HAHA! which clearly doesn’t help at all. HRM.) So lets see if theres progress! yaaay(?)
Also I’ll get back to posting more regularly. The break was just so busy I feel like i need a vacation to get over it! woof man!
